District 5 Galala Challenge

Welcome to Power Ride. We are delighted to announce the seventh edition of Galala Challenge. We've added a new element this year by including a timed segment on the climb. Prepare to embark on a new adventure on January 12th, 2024. 

We are continuing to ride for sustainability and road safety as part of our Together Green Initiative from last year.

What’s new this year?

• We added a shorter distance of 50KM to encourage new comers to join and be part of Galala Challenge
  
• A 10K segment on Galala Road will be timed from start to finish, with overall and age group winners determined. The sole timed phase is a section of Galala Road as part of the lengthy route. There will be start and finish gates that you need to pass between in order for your segment to be timed.

Distances:

• 50 KM: District 5 to Chillout on Sokhna Road
• 90 KM : District 5 to Galala toll gates
• 150 KM: District 5 to Galala Marina through Galala climb (including the timed segment)

Terms and Conditions

• Registration and payment are completed online through our website: www.powerridesports.com
• Payment should be done following the registration on the website.
• Your ticket can only be transferred to another participant through PowerRide under certain circumstances.
• Participants must present a copy of their ID along with the confirmation email at the event's registration to receive their kit.
• Deadline for changing your registered distance is December 18th, 2023.

Cancellation Policy

• Your ticket is fully refundble until November 24th, 2023
• Your ticket is 50% refundable until November 30th, 2023
• Your ticket is 25% refundable until December 5th, 2023
• Your ticket is non-refundable after December 30th, 2023
